Event Description:

Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS)- Prairieville is hosting a Wine and Wellness event featuring free cardiovascular screenings.

Guests will receive a complimentary electrocardiogram (EKG) and ankle brachial index (ABI) screenings. An EKG is a painless test that records the electrical signals of the heart. An ABI simple, painless exam is used to test the blood flow in the legs to determine risk of vascular disease.

The event will also include hors d’oeuvres and red wine tastings.
