2024 Young Ascension Professionals September Social

Our September Social for Young Ascension Professionals will be held at the Ascension Parish Courthouse (607 E Worthey Street | Gonzales) on Thursday, September 5^th from 5:00 – 7:00.

We will have Ascension Parish Clerk of Court Bridget Hanna as our guest speaker, accompanied by Shanie Bourg with the Registrar of Voters, to talk about All Things Elections.  This will be a nonpartisan conversation discussing election security and safeguards and what will be on the ballot.  We will also offer the opportunity to Register to Vote onsite. 

If you plan to register to vote, please be prepared with the following:

• ID card with a picture, signature, and current address (ex. Driver’s License)

  • If you do not have any identification, your application will go through a verification process before you are officially registered to vote which takes approximately two weeks.
