Gonzales, LA – The Ascension Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 27th Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, October 6, 2025, at Pelican Point Golf Course, drawing over 200 golfers and featuring 31 tent vendors showcasing hospitality and community spirit.

Despite a bit of rain, participants braved the weather and enjoyed a full day of networking, friendly competition, and fun on the Links and Lakes Courses.

Tent sponsors went above and beyond, serving up food and drinks that kept spirits high throughout the day. Golfers also enjoyed contests, engaging sponsor activities, and opportunities to connect with fellow Chamber members and business leaders.

“Our golf tournament is a highlight of the year for the Chamber and our community,” said Chamber President/CEO Donnie Miller. “Even a little rain couldn’t dampen the energy, enthusiasm, and hospitality of our members and volunteers who made this event such a success.”
